February Customer Makes

February has seemed such a short month: I can’t believe we are in March already. We have started to see people knitting for the summer over the last few weeks and we have also had lots of lovely new yarns arrive in.

Mum and I went to a trade show a couple of weekends ago which meant we purchased lots of lovely goodies – I’m now trying to find space for them all in the shop!

Here’s what a few of our customer have been up to this month:

Gail has made her son a new jumper. This was from a very old pattern she found and she used Stylecraft 400g Aran to knit it. This was her first adult knit.

Jayne Has made this gorgeous Baby blanket for her new Granddaughter using Lullaby DK. She came to our finishing up class and learnt how to join the squares neatly.

Helen came to our Yarn Dying workshop back in January. With the yarn she dyed she knitted these gorgeous gloves.

Sarah is working on a temperature blanket (more about these in another blog).

Heather came to our C2C workshop with Holly Pips Crochet and since learning the basics has progressed to make this gorgeous dog blanket. She has also made one with a cat on it, How clever!

Our next ‘Customer Makes’ blog will be at the end of march. If you have anything you would like to send in for us to feature, please send it over to us at info@theslippedstitch.co.uk.
