We are lucky to work with some amazingly talented arts and crafts people.
Carla – The Mousehole Woolery
Carla is new to the team for 2018. She runs some of our needle felting classes.
Sarah is another new member to our tutor team for 2018. She will be running our beginners knitting classes and hopefully some improvers classes later on in the year.
Holly – HollyPips Crochet
Holly has been teaching with us for a couple of years now. She runs our beginners and improvers crochet classes.
Anniken – Improvers Knitting
Anniken has been teaching with us since 2017. She runs some of our more advanced knitting workshops, such as fair isle and beaded lace. Anniken also designs patterns for magazines.
Sophia – Jessali Handmade
Sophia is back with us in 2018, teaching her popular machine embroidery workshop. She is also running a piped cushion cover class.
Ros – Smocking and Dorset Buttons
Ros is an expert in the traditional skill of smocking and Dorset Buttons.
Jean – Spinning
Jean is our spinning expert. She will be back with us in 2018 running her popular learn to spin workshop.
Mary-Jane – Needle Felting
Mary- Jane runs some of our needle felting classes. She has been teaching with us for a couple of year now. Her needle felted sheep class is always really popular.
Millie – Yarn Dyeing and Knitting (and owner of The Slipped Stitch)
Millie runs our yarn dyeing and knitting classes. This year she is only teaching in January and February, before she goes on maternity leave.
Ali – Butterfly Bright
Ali has just joined our team of tutors after successfully running Butterfly Bright for 8 years. She will be teaching machine sewing and quilting classes.
