March brings lots of new stock ready for spring and summer so there are so many things I’m loving this month in the shop.
I have a bit of a shawl obsession at the moment. My latest one was the Frosty Apples shawl, which I held together with one of these lovely shawl pins. (Shawl Pins £6.49 each)
King Cole Yarns are keeping up with the current trends and have released this Unicorn pattern, made in Tinsel yarn.
Pattern £2.90, Yarn £2.85 a ball)
Hand Dyed Yarns
I love hand dyed yarns, it makes a project so individual. We keep a range of in house dyed yarns as well as yarns from Rosie’s Moments. (Prices start at £10.50)
The Crochet Workshop
When we went to the trade show at the NEC last month we discovered (and ordered!) lots of new books. The Crochet Workshop is one of those new ones, full of lovely patterns to teach you to crochet. (£7.99)
Another new book… this one is on my favourite topic of shawls. If I had the time I would make one of each! the best part is that they do not need to be knitted in a specific ply yarn, so you can make them even more individual. (£14.99)
With Easter only being a few weeks away I thought it appropriate to start thinking about Easter makes and these chicks and chickens from King Cole would make a great non chocolate Easter gift. They are also very quick to knit. (Pattern £2.90, Yarn £2.85 a ball)
All of the items are available in the shop or by phoning us on 01935 508249
