Yarn Shop Day 2017

Whether you love crochet or prefer to work with needles, Yarn Shop Day is a must for your diary.

On the 6th May 2017, the fourth annual Yarn Shop Day will take place in craft stores across the country, and local business Th Slipped Stitch is just one of the many shops that is excited to be involved. The event has been organised by UK leading magazines Let’s Knit and Let’s Get Crafting in a bid to celebrate Britain’s much-loved independent wool shops.

We can’t wait to take part in the event. Crafting is growing in popularity, and we know that customers rely on their local yarn shop for more than just needles and wool. Many people come in for advice and they love to feel part of a crafting community.

On Saturday 6th May at The Slipped Stitch we will be running a host of activities. Please see below for the timetable of events.
We are looking forward to welcoming customers old and new through the door, and hope our local knitters and crocheters will get involved.
