Lockdown Blanket Crochet Along Part 4

Millie FurbyCrochet Patterns

Welcome to Part 4

As I typed up part 4 of the crochet along I realised I hadn’t talked about the fundraising I am doing with the kits that we have sold of the blanket. For every kit sold I am donating £4 to the Friends of the Yeatman Hospital. For those of you who are not local to Sherborne, you might not know that we are very lucky to have a small hospital in the town which has a minor injuries unit, x-ray facilities and much more. For such a small town we are very lucky. As the COVID crisis developed, the hospital put out a plea for sewers to make scrubs and scrub bags. Now I will freely admit that I am not a confident sewer so knew I couldn’t help in this respect, but I wanted to do something. THen I was approached by some of the ladies who are making them for some materials and I knew this was where I could help. So the money raised from the sale of each kit is going in a kitty for when the sewers need more thread, tape etc. Anything left over will be donated to the Friends of The Yeatman to help them with other projects around the hospital. If you have not brought a kit from us but would like to donate to our local hospital then please click here.
