Part 9 – The edging!
Colours used today: Amber, Grey and Pale Rose.
Round 1: Join amber to the bottom right hand corner with the right side facing you. Ch4 (counts as 1dc and 2ch), 1dc in the same space. I would recommend placing a marker in the 2ch space so you can easily identify the corners. 1dc in each stitch along bottom edge (149 sts), (1dc, 2ch, 1dc) in corner, 186 dc up the side edge of blanket, 1dc, 2ch, 1dc) in corner, 1dc in each stitch along top edge (149 sts), (1dc, 2ch, 1dc) in corner, 186 dc down the side edge, sl st to join. Fasten off.
Round 2: Change to Grey and join in the bottom right hand 2ch corner space. 4ch (counts as 1dc, 2ch) 1dc in same space. 1dc in each stitch to next corner (151 sts), (1dc, 2ch, 1dc) in corner, 1dc in each stitch to next corner (188 sts), repeat around the blanket. Sl St to join and fasten off.
Round 3: Change to Pale Rose. Work as for round 2 but with 153 sts on shorter edges and 190 on longer edges. Sl st to join and fasten off.
